Marine and Inland Waters Research Symposium 2022
Tsakalidis Analysis & Testing laboratories in support of the scientific and research community were a Bronze Sponsor at the Marine and Inland Water Research Symposium 2022.
The Symposium was held on September 16-19, 2022, at AKS Porto Heli Conference Center, Porto Heli, Argolida - Greece and was supported by the HCMR Researchers Association and the Pan-Hellenic Association of the HCMR Employees, under the auspices of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research.
It was successfully the meeting point of the scientific and research community, it provided the opportunity for discussions, exchange of views and strengthening of social and professional dialogue and relations between researchers active in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
Particularly important was the offer of the Symposium to young scientists and students as they had the opportunity to present and discuss the results of their research. 210 scientists participated in the Symposium, while 155 research papers were presented, which covered topics such as: climate change, marine pollution, seabed morphology and underwater geological structure, biodiversity, the invasion of non-indigenous species in Greek waters, fishing and problems of Greek fishermen, genetic approaches to aquatic sciences, ecology and management of rivers and lakes, aquaculture, implementation of European marine policies, environmental education and public awareness of the marine environment.
